Youth Art Month at the Center for Contemporary Art


The Center of Contemporary Art in Bedminster, NJ celebrates Youth Art Month with an exhibit featuring artwork from grade K through 12.  

In this year’s program, 13 Somerset County schools will be participating in the two separate exhibitions. From those, six students have been chosen to have their work shown in a state-wide exhibition at the statehouse in Trenton, where more than 100 pieces of student work will be on display from all counties in New Jersey.

Exhibit Part I: Artwork by students in grades 6 through 12
Exhibit Dates: March 1 – 10, 2013

Part II: Artwork by students in grades K through 5
Exhibit Dates: March 15 – 25, 2013

The Center of Contemporary Art is the home of the Somerset Arts Association to work with students, artists and other members of the art community in the county. There are exhibits in the building and classes on all kinds of art.
