Free tours, family fun and prizes to celebrate the grand opening.

Free shuttle service for opening weekend: From 12-6PM, the blue Brooklyn Navy Yard shuttle bus will make continuous loops between BLDG 92 and downtown Brooklyn (intersection: Jay Street and Willoughby Street), accessible from the Jay St./Metrotech station (A,C,F,N,R) and a quick walk from Borough Hall Stations (2,3,4,5).


 

2. StageCoach Theatre Arts Open House

East Side will host an unprecedented Open House – instead of just observing, come and participate! Interested students can take classes from our expert teachers and find out exactly what we do every week. Come exercise your imagination in our drama class, belt out some favorite tunes in singing, and boogie your heart out in dance. Students ages 4-5 have class from 2-3:30, and our 7-16 year olds are invited from 2:30-5:30. Special perks are available to students who register for our January term on the day. Advanced registration is required for the Open House, so call 347-678-8989 to reserve your place.


3. Eat, Sleep, Play Festival

4. NY Historical Society Re-Grand Opening

Celebrate the New-York Historical Society’s grand reopening and meet some of our nation’s founders, including George Washington, Benjamin and Deborah Franklin, and the Marquis de Lafayette, as well as members of various Continental units, including the 1st Rhode Island Regiment, one of the first African-American units.
