A call to action for our new Congress

Make your voice heard! Make an impact at the national level! Be an active participant in Congress’ role in funding arts programs!

The following notice from Americans for the Arts shows how citizens can inform these new members of Congress about the importance of arts education.

January 05, 2011—Today, all 435 members of the U.S. House of Representatives will be sworn in, and 13 new U.S. Senators will take the oath of office as a result of the November elections. It is critical to contact them now to show that the arts are important to you and your community.
